Volunteer opportunities

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS AN ASSET BUT NOT ESSENTIAL. ONLY NEED A POSITIVE ATTITUDE TO WORKING WITH THE KIDS.

• VOLUNTEER REQUESTS

  • The list of volunteers interested in teaching English and Computers to elementary school kids in Chicxulub is growing. Currently there are 17 names on the list. If there are more of you out there, call Sharon at 934-0558 or email shelgason@hotmail.com indicating availability and class choice and any other information that I might need.
    
    
  • Still needed at AQR, 2 white boards and a handyman to change two large blackboards to cork boards.
    
    
  • Anyone interested in volunteering at the local nursing home? The work consists of an exercise group that would be nice to have at least 4 of the 5 week days, and people who like to shave men and assist with passive exercises.
